Campers ages 6-9 |
Camp Broadway's Shining StarsSM is for young campers to tap into their natural creativity through singing, dancing and theatre crafts. Taught by professional teaching artists, your child will not only learn songs and dance moves, but will paint their own scenery and decorate their own costumes as well.
The program includes lunch, a snack, a Camp Broadway t-shirt, all craft materials, and a special memento. On the last day of the camp session, the children will perform a short musical presentation in the rehearsal studio for their family members, demonstrating what they have learned.
We've added weekend camps throughout the year, which are 2-day and 3-day versions of our Shining Stars program.
The Director Canedy Knowles is an accomplished performer and a talented teaching artist. She has been with Camp Broadway for the last ten years where she helped to develop the Shining Stars program. Canedy has choreographed over fifteen musicals and she travels the country teaching master classes in dance, acting, improvisation and video production and acting in television and movies. |
